Manufacturer's warranty (5 years) - Conditions

There is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty for the product offered. Below you will find the warranty conditions.

1) Warranty provider / products / duration

Warrantor: BTS Trading GmbH, Mühlenstr. 58, D-25436, Uetersen

Products: "The Swinging Sticks" models INFINITY and PRESTIGE (formerly Original and Premium)

Warranty period: 5 years

Start of the warranty period: on the invoice date (decisive for calculating the period).

2) Territorial scope

The manufacturer's warranty is valid worldwide.

3) Prerequisites (registration / authorized persons / transferability)

The warranty can only be claimed if

• Registration within 3 months of purchase with invoice number and serial number at
  https://www.the-swinging-sticks.com (alternatively via QR code)
• The warranty is only valid for first-time buyers of new goods from licensed retail partners
• The warranty is personal, non-transferable and non-assignable

4) Warranty service

If material or manufacturing defects occur within the warranty period, the guarantor will provide the following services at its discretion

• repair of the goodsfree of charge or
• free replacement with an equivalent item (including a successor model if the original product is no longer available).

The warranty service relates exclusively to the specific defective goods, not automatically to the entire scope of delivery.

5) Procedure in the event of a warranty claim / proof / inspection

Proceed as follows in the event of a warranty claim:

• Notification: Please contact BTS Trading GmbH first.
• Evidence: Proof of purchase/invoice, serial number and registration confirmation must be submitted on request.
  Overview and detailed photos are helpful for assessment.
• Inspection / submission: The guarantor may require the goods to be sent in for inspection. Please ensure that the packaging is suitable to avoid damage during transportation.
• For shipments from abroad, please observe the regulations on shipping and costs in the "Shipping / Costs" section.

6) Shipping / costs

Warranty processing is free of charge for you within Germany (standard shipping). Shipping costs incurred by you within Germany will be reimbursed by the guarantor.

For shipments from abroad, you bear the costs and the shipping risk for shipping to the German shipping address specified by the guarantor. The guarantor will return the goods carriage paid within Germany. Additional costs arising from international shipping (e.g. foreign postage, customs duties, import duties, taxes, handling fees) shall be borne by you.

If it is necessary to dismantle the goods in order to return them , the guarantor shall bear the costs necessary for dismantling.

7) Exclusions

Excluded from the manufacturer's warranty are damages or causes caused in particular by

• abusive or improper handling, excessive use, misuse, overloading, accidental damage
• Environmental influences (e.g. moisture, heat, overvoltage, dust), extreme dryness/humidity, light, temperature
• Non-observance of safety precautions or operating instructions
• Use of force (e.g. impact, shock, fall), intentional damage
• Unauthorized or unauthorized repair/rework attempts; incorrect installation or service by unauthorized persons
• normal wear and tear / normal wear and tear due to age and use
• Use outside the private living area (e.g. commercially)
• Exposure to liquids and unsuitable care/cleaning products; damage
  caused by pointed, sharp-edged, hot or damp objects
• Damage/soiling
  caused by pets, heat sources, weather; soiling (e.g. sweat, body/hair care products)
• Discoloration due to medication ingredients; changes due to acidic, solvent or alcohol-based agents
• Swelling/moisture damage due to standing water or condensation that has not been removed
• Maintenance work or changes due to damage caused by third-party products (e.g.
  steam cleaners, non-recommended impregnation/care products)
• typical product characteristics without material defects
• Display items/demo goods: excluded from the manufacturer's warranty (the statutory warranty applies)

8) No extension of the warranty period

The warranty period ends 5 years after the invoice date, even if services are provided under the warranty.

9) Statutory rights remain unaffected

Your statutory rights in the event of defects (statutory warranty) are not restricted by this voluntary manufacturer's warranty and can be exercised free of charge.
