Shipping policy

Scope of application
These shipping conditions apply to all orders in the online store "The Swinging Sticks", unless otherwise agreed.

Shipping service providers & delivery areas
We ship with the following carriers:
- National (Germany): DHL, UPS, DPD
- EU & International (outside DE): DHL, UPS, FedEx

Please note:
- Carrier selection is automated according to destination, size/weight and service availability.
- Delivery to packing stations only in Germany with DHL.
- No delivery to post office boxes only

Delivery times
- Germany: 1-3 working days after receipt of payment (DPD/DHL)
- EU: 3-7 working days after receipt of payment (DHL/UPS/FedEx)
- Third countries: 5-14 working days after receipt of payment, plus customs clearance (DHL/UPS/FedEx)

Please note: Customs inspections, weather conditions, strikes or force majeure may extend delivery times.

- EU (DHL Premium/UPS/FedEx): from14.99 €
- EU Express (UPS/FedEx): from 24.99 €

- Europe Non EU (DHL Premium/UPS/FedEx) from 22.99 € - DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)

- UK Express (UPS Express) from 29.99 €, UK minimum order value 175.00€ - DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)

- Third countries (DHL Premium/UPS/FedEx): from 32.99 € (excl. import duties) - DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)

Calculation at check-out
The exact shipping costs are calculated according to the country of delivery, carrier, weight/volume and service option. Prices are displayed in the store currency; foreign payments may be subject to exchange rate or card fees charged by your bank.

Prices outside the EU are subject to import sales tax and customs duties. These are to be paid by the customer on import.

IMPORTANT - Import duties
- For deliveries to non-EU countries, import duties (e.g. customs duties, taxes, fees and, if applicable, carrier presentation/brokerage fees) are incurred in addition to our prices.

- We do not levy these charges. They are usually collected by the shipping service provider on behalf of the authorities and are to be paid by you directly.

- For binding information, please contact your local customs or tax authority.

Packaging, partial deliveries, bulky goods
- Secure packaging with transport protection; environmentally friendly filling materials where possible.
- Partial deliveries are not possible
- Bulky goods or island surcharges may apply; these are shown in the checkout.

Returns, non-delivery, acceptance
- Return costs
- Germany/EU: In accordance with revocation instructions or promotion-related regulations.
- Third countries: In accordance with revocation instructions or promotion-related regulations.
- Non-deliverable / refusal of acceptance
If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect/incomplete address, refusal of acceptance or non-collection, we will refund the value of the goods less any shipping and return charges incurred by the carrier. Reshipment after address correction and renewed payment of shipping costs.

Reimbursement of import duties
Customs duties/taxes/fees already incurred are not part of our refunds. You are responsible for reclaiming these from the relevant authorities.

Transport risk and inspection upon delivery
The risk is transferred to you upon delivery. Please check the shipment for external damage upon receipt, have the deliverer confirm any abnormalities and contact our support team promptly with photos.

Delivery address and delivery
We deliver to the address specified in the checkout. Address changes after the start of shipping are only possible via the carrier and may incur additional charges. Delivery to packing stations only with DHL (where available).

Tracking & Status
You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking link (DPD/DHL/UPS/FedEx). Status updates are provided by the respective carrier.

Exceptional circumstances
Events such as strikes, natural disasters, political measures, customs strikes or pandemics can affect delivery times. We will inform you in the event of significant delays.
